Board of Directors

Manuel Leuthold - Chairman of the Board

Manuel Leuthold is a Swiss citizen and currently residing in Confignon, Switzerland.
Mr. Manuel Leuthold joined the Company in 2016 as member of the Board of Directors. He is currently also chairman of the board of compenswiss (Swiss federal social security funds), Chairman of the Economic Development Canton de Vaud (an association in charge of the economic promotion of the Canton, financed mainly by the government of Canton de Vaud), and member of the board of Clinique Générale Beaulieu Holding SA, Genève (a private clinic listed on BX Berne eXchange). Furthermore, he currently holds board memberships with various non-listed small and medium enterprises. Previously, Mr. Leuthold held several positions with UBS during a total of 27 years (1984 to 2011). He was, amongst others, head of corporate and institutional clients Switzerland and member of the Swiss executive committee of UBS (both 2009 to 2011). He also spent four years as chief administrative officer of the Edmond de Rothschild Group (2012 to 2015). From 2014 to 2015, he was chairman of Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate SICAV. Mr. Leuthold holds a master of law and a master of sciences (economics) from University of Geneva.

Jaume Sabater Martos - Vice Chairman of the Board

Jaume Sabater Martos is a Swiss citizen and currently residing in Geneva, Switzerland.
Mr. Jaume Sabater Martos joined the Company in 2015 and has been a member of the Board of Directors since then. Since 2015, he has been founding partner and CEO of Stoneweg SA, the asset manager of the Company.
From 2003 to 2014, Mr. Sabater worked for Edmond de Rothschild Group. Between 2003 and 2007, he held the function of first vice-president of the asset management team, and after 2007, he was in charge of the creation of a team specialised in real estate investment which launched the first Swiss real estate SICAV. Between 2007 and 2014, he acted as senior portfolio manager and as head of dedicated accounts and real estate. Mr. Sabater holds a master degree in international management from the Community of European Management Schools in St. Gallen University and ESADE Barcelona.

Taner Alicehic - Member of the Board

Taner Alicehic is a Swiss citizen and currently residing in Baar, Switzerland.
Mr. Taner Alicehic joined the Company in 2015 as member of the Board of Directors. He is a project founder, advisor and shareholder of Stoneweg SA, the asset manager of the Company. He is the founder and CEO of Real Estate Investment Solutions SA. Prior to 2008, he worked as head of investment strategies for real estate, fixed income as well as foreign exchange markets for Banque Cantonale Vaudoise. Mr. Alicehic holds a master degree in physics from Ecole Polytechnique de Lausanne, Switzerland as well as a MBA from HEC of University of Geneva, Switzerland.

Patrick Richard - Executive Member of the Board

Patrick Richard is a Swiss citizen and currently residing in Freienbach, Switzerland.
Mr. Patrick Richard joined the Company in 2016 as member of the Board of Directors. From early 2016, Mr. Richard has worked for Stoneweg SA, the asset manager of the Company, where he is currently head of US investment. He is the co-founder and chairman of the board of Procimmo SA, a Swiss regulated real estate asset manager. He was vice chairman of the board of directors of Solufonds SA, a regulated fund management company from 2009 to 2012. Within the last five years, he was also active as a private investor in the US real estate market. Patrick Richard has a law degree from the University of Geneva and he passed the bar exam in Geneva. He followed several board education programs (Swiss board institute and IMD).

Dany Roizman - Member of the Board

Dany Roizman is a Brazilian citizen and currently residing in Plan-les-Ouates, Switzerland.
Mr. Dany Roizman joined the Company in 2015 as member of the Board of Directors. He is the CEO of BRAINVEST Wealth Management SA, which he founded in 2003. Prior to that, he worked for Banco BBM in Sao Paulo, Brazil (1993 to 1996) and for JP Morgan in Sao Paulo, Brazil, New York, United States, and Geneva, Switzerland (from 1996 to 2004). Mr. Roizman holds a bachelor degree in economics from PUC Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Beat Schwab - Member of the Board

Dr. Beat Schwab is a Swiss citizen, and currently residing in Winterthur, Switzerland.
Dr. Beat Schwab joined the Company in 2016 as member of the Board of Directors. He was the head real estate investment management Switzerland of Credit Suisse since 2012 until October 2016 and he is currently the head of global real estate ad interim of Credit Suisse until approximately spring 2017. In addition, he is a member of the board of directors of Zug Estates Holding since 2014 and in mid-2016 he was appointed to be a member of the board of directors of SBB. From 2006 to 2012, Dr. Schwab was the chief executive officer of Wincasa AG. He is also on the Board of Wincasa AG since 2013. He was member of the management of ISS Schweiz AG from 2004 to 2006 and co-owner of Sevis AG, Facility Services from 1999 to 2004. He completed his PhD degree at the University of Bern and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia University.

Stefan Buser - Member of the Board

Stefan Buser is a Swiss citizen and currently residing in Unterengstringen, Switzerland. Mr. Stefan Buser joined the Company in 2017 as member of the Board of Directors. Since 2015, he has been Head Integration Project and member of the Executive Board of Tertianum Group. From 2009 and 2015, Mr. Buser worked as CFO for SENIOcare. Between 2006 and 2009, he held the function of Head Risk & Sustainability Services at KPMG Switzerland. Prior to 2006, he worked as CFO for Graf Group. Mr. Buser holds a MBA from the University of Zurich and he is a chartered accountant.

Patrick Richard - Principal, Head of US Investment

Patrick Richard is a Swiss citizen and currently residing in Freienbach, Switzerland.
Mr. Patrick Richard joined the Company in 2016 as member of the Board of Directors. From early 2016, Mr. Richard has worked for Stoneweg SA, the asset manager of the Company, where he is currently head of US investment. Rob Brehl - Chief Financial Officer

Rob Brehl has over 30 years of finance and accounting experience in real estate, multi-unit operating companies and public accounting. Rob began his career at a “Big Four” public accounting firm before joining a Seniors housing owner / management company followed by a real estate investment trust as a finance and accounting executive. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Louisville and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Rob was hired as the Vice President of Finance in March 2018 and was named the Chief Financial Officer in April 2019.

Brandon Rosser - General Counsel

Brandon Rosser serves as the General Counsel for Stoneweg US LLC. Prior to joining Stoneweg US, LLC, Brandon worked at large regional and international law firms where he gained extensive real estate experience representing clients in the acquisition, disposition, financing and leasing of multifamily developments, shopping centers and industrial properties. Brandon received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and both a Master of Science in Real Estate and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida.

Ryan Reyes - Director of Acquisitions

Ryan Reyes joined the Stoneweg US, LLC executive team in February of 2019 as the Director of Acquisitions where he will lead all efforts in acquisitions and dispositions for the Stoneweg US, LLC portfolio. Ryan began his real estate career with an investment company specializing in residential real estate where he held various roles in acquisitions, capital markets and construction management supporting the company’s growth from $50MM to $1B over the course of his 7-year tenure with the company. Prior to real estate, Ryan served as a Federal Agent with the Department of Homeland Security’s Special Operations Group. Ryan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tampa, where he also served as captain of the NCAA swim team, and is a Florida native.

Bryan Castillo - Director of Debt and Structured Finance

As stoneweg’s Director of Debt and Structured Finance, Bryan is in charge of securing and negotiating financing across the portfolio for new and existing properties. Prior to joining Stoneweg US, LLC, Bryan led financing and portfolio management responsibilities for a private equity investment firm focused on value-add multifamily. Bryan began his career at PGIM Real Estate Finance where he was involved in over 40 transactions with total financings in excess of $1.5B over the course of his 7-year tenure. Bryan graduated with Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Real Estate from Florida State University.

Ana Gonzalez - Senior Accountant

Ana Gonzalez spent six years at a publicly traded company in Tampa, specializing in real estate, insurance and information technology in multiple accounting roles before joining the Stoneweg US team in January 2019 as the Senior Accountant. Ana’s previous accounting experience also includes a role with the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Agent, and consulting (it was about a year) experience with an accounting consulting company based in Clermont, FL. Ana has a Masters of Accountancy (MAcc) from the University of South Florida and a B.B.A in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico. She is also a Certified Public Account (CPA).

Brad Bartlett - Senior Asset Manager

Stoneweg US, LLC welcomed Brad Bartlett as a Senior Asset Manager in January 2019. Brad has extensive experience in the real estate industry having launched his career in property management almost 20 years ago. In addition to working for property management companies, Brad also has vast experience on the ownership side in asset management, including experience with several owners, and a prominent syndicator of low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC). Brad obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida in Finance. He also has a Certified Property Manager (CPM), and Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) certifications.

Thomas Stanchak - Asset Manager

Thomas Stanchak is a seasoned real estate management professional with both residential and commercial industry experience. Previously he has managed operations for high-rise office facilities, coordinated many high value commercial and residential construction improvement projects, and has also managed and repositioned multifamily assets. As the veteran on the Asset Management team, Tom oversees 17 of the Company’s 56 properties under management and through collaboration with other asset managers, will focus on increasing value for all assets. Tom studied at Cleveland State University and has completed several real estate professional specific programs such as the Real Property Administrator designation from Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI).

Sharmane Bailey - Executive Legal Assistant

Sharmane Bailey joined the Stoneweg US, LLC team in July 2018 as the Executive Legal Assistant, bringing with her a unique industry background and more than 15 years of professional corporate experience. Prior to joining Stoneweg US, LLC Sharmane worked for a New York-based Fortune 500 company and several professional services companies in various marketing and administrative roles. Sharmane obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Canisius College, and is new to the Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg area.

Jennifer Eager - Assistant Controller

Prior to joining Stoneweg, Jennifer’s was Technical Accounting Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in their corporate headquarters in Tampa. In that role, Jennifer oversaw the GAAP research for areas including revenue recognition, variable interest entities and acquisition accounting. Jennifer is a Certified Public Accountant as well as Certified Fraud Examiner. She has a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a Minor in Economics from the University of South Florida.

Elaine Armstrong - Office Manager

Elaine Armstrong has a diverse background, which includes stints in the travel and publishing industries. Elaine has over 20 years of experience and has previously served in various management-level roles such as an Office Manager, Business Development Manager, Project Manager and Editorial Manager. Elaine studied and lectured at Gloucester College UK, and currently serves as the Office Manager for Stoneweg US, LLC.
